Great little bar on Chalong waterfront. Good food, pretty girls and always a cool breeze.
Salt-encrusted sun-drenched barnacles on sailboats, cold beer, sea fishing, forest-clad islands, rolling anchorages, sea squalls, scuba dives, motorcycle trips through the Malay Peninsula on roads that follow like a tedious argument of insidious intent.

Sunday Ride
Sunday morning ride on the Silverwing to Tap Lamu and Koh Lak. Beer in a cozy restaurant while the rain stopped, then through the mountains on the long and winding road back to N4, Phangna and Phuket. Lunch in a roadside stall; beer, fried eggs and crispy pork with rice for €3, including a free marriage proposal from the Mam-San on behalf of her daughter. It's rambutan season now so lots of fresh fruit for sale. Passed the 4-wheel driver boys returning from Ranong and got a big wave. Back across the Sarasin Bridge at 4pm and home for jam sandwiches and tea.
